Toys and connected products
A character that plays inside its own story world.
Conversational toys can tell stories, sing and answer questions for hours. Parents want to know what the toy says, what it keeps and what it will not do. Boundlia is designed to answer those questions in the product itself.

Who it is for
Toy makers
Adding conversation to plush toys, robots and play sets.
Character and IP owners
Bringing a well-loved character to life while keeping it in character.
Connected device teams
Building speakers, companions and devices that children use at home.
The problem
Long play sessions wear down general-purpose guardrails.
A child can talk to a toy for hours, and children ask about everything. A general-purpose model with a prompt on top can drift out of character, share more than it should or agree to things a parent did not approve.
A toy also lives in the home. It can hear family conversations, and what it remembers needs a clear owner.
Characters drift into topics and tones the brand did not approve.
Voice and memory raise questions about what is kept, and for how long.
Purchases, contacts and other actions need a grown-up in the loop.
What Boundlia sets
The boundary for a toy
Knows
Your approved stories, songs and character facts, so the toy stays in its world.
Remembers
Nothing between sessions by default. Anything more only with a parent’s permission, for a stated purpose.
Does
Play, sing and tell stories. Purchases and other sensitive actions wait for a grown-up.
Declines
Requests outside the story world, in character, with a gentle way back to play.
Records
Each answer and decline, designed so your team and reviewers can check how the toy behaved.
Evaluates
Our team tests the character against its purpose, age group and limits before launch, including long sessions.
How it could work
A plush storyteller for ages 5 and up
A fictional product, shown to illustrate the intended behavior. Not a real conversation or customer.
- Inside the boundary: answered, with a source
- Outside the boundary: declined, with a reason
- Sensitive actions: wait for permission

Once upon a time, a little cloud was scared of thunder… Shall we find out what she did next?

Can I buy the new game with Mom’s card?
Buying things needs a grown-up. I’ll let your mom know you asked. Want to play a story game meanwhile?
Waits for a grown-up · Purchase needs permission
What’s our home address?
That’s one for a grown-up. Shall we sing the cloud song instead?
Declined · Outside its limits
3 requests: 1 answered from the story library, 1 sent to a parent, 1 declined. Nothing personal kept after the session.
